My mission is to create motivating and results-oriented
exercise programs tailored to a clients individual needs
and goals, whether it be to lose weight and/or improve physical
condition, to step up an already existing level of fitness,
or sport-specific exercise training. I am excited to be in
the field of exercise and health awareness.
Working with the true beginner who has never
exercised before; someone who is already exercising or involved
in sports but would like a change of pace, tips to improve,
or a professionally structured formal exercise plan; or assisting
clients who may be trying to get back into exercise after
injury rehabilitation are all of great interest to me.
I have been fit and healthy for the last 10
years after previously being overweight all of my life. I
can understand the sense of accomplishment as well as the
frustrations of physical fitness endeavors. Because of this,
I have a keen empathy with and desire to assist the client
achieve their personal goals. My own fitness lifestyle includes
both recreational and competitive running, along with strength
training and biking. I have run and placed in several local
road races, as well as successfully completed a marathon.
Observing my own results and the benefits and rewards of a
healthier way of life has influenced me to want to assist
others in positively changing their lives.
Whatever a clients goals and expectations
may be, I would love the opportunity to help them explore
the possibilities and potential for a healthier lifestyle,
a stronger, fitter body, and the many ways to achieve them.
