Experience:

I have had the pleasure of working with a variety of people during my time as a student and professional in health and fitness. My experiences have given me the opportunity to work with athletes, college students, and adults of virtually every age range and ability. The interaction is always a fun experience whether it is strengthening and conditioning for athletic or recreational events, teaching group classes, one-on-one personal training, or even injury rehabilitation. I have also regularly performed graded exercise tests and fitness assessments for clients and taught Personal Fitness Training classes for aspiring personal trainers.

Philosophy:

Health and Wellness is not just hopping on a treadmill or pumping iron to “get in shape”. It is a lifestyle that consists of physical activity, mental and/or spiritual well-being, and a diet that provides you with the body’s essential needs without an overabundance of things the body doesn’t need. Everybody is different and enjoys different activities: resistance training can be done on land and in water and is often a welcome change, an athletic activity such as racquetball or even golf often breaks up the monotony of routine jogging/walking, flexibility training is a relieving and often soothing substitute for weight training for aching muscles or joints- finding what suits you best is the key to success.
